Fall Fashion Tips for Men and Women

This fall will see a host of new styles and colours hit the shops, as Summer fades away and the colder days draw in! From a fashionista`s point of view, Fall is the time of year when fashion really starts to get exciting - after a summer of rocking about in beach wear and flip flops it`s once again time to get the style on!

 

For both women and men, there will be a range of different looks to choose from. Light knits are perfect for keeping away the chill and there will be some great merino and cashmere blends to layer up with. For men, deep v-necks will be a key look with tees underneath - choose bright colours to mix with dark denims or neutrals. For women, neon brights mix well with soft greys and taupes, and long wraps and boyfriend cardigans are great teemed with skinny jeans and boots.

 

Denim is of course ubiquitous for men and women every year, and this season we will still see light wash skinny jeans, along with relaxed urban and skater styles, and twisted denims with 80s rips and other detailing. Rock t-shirts and indie prints will still be a hot look for the rock fans, and accessories will continue to be bold and bright.

 

The tip with fashion of course is to find the looks and styles that suit you and express your personality. Don`t just pick the obvious, or go for what looks good on your friend. Ask a friendly shop assistant to recommend something different - you may be surprised. Similarly, don`t get stuck in a rut with looks that suited you a few years ago. Try getting a different haircut, or changing just one thing about your appearance - and you may find that a whole new look follows and gives you a huge boost for the season ahead!
